“THE JITTERBUGS” are now performing to SOLD OUT CONCERTS !!!!

They are the newest sensation in children’s entertainment. The show has been described as a Beetles Concert, even though “they’re bugs”, “JITTERBUGS”.  The children go wild, they love the bug theme & all the friendly characters in the show.

This is a non-stop musical extravaganza. First class children’s entertainment!!!!

The production features a cast of totally unique characters such as “Frogodile” (he’s half frog, half crocodile). This bright, friendly character is an amazing singer and dancer and the children adore him. There’s also Snappy The Happy Crocodile, the Gorgeous Butterfly, the Boogying Bumble Bee, The Sensational Lady Bugs - Hug Bug & Snug Bug, Inspector Bernie Cinders and the host of the show.

Our show apart from being very entertaining is also educational and very interactive. Within this non-stop musical show we talk about bugs - “Where they live, where they sleep, where they come from, what they eat & drink, and what they produce”.

St Ives Shopping Village

During the recent April NSW School Holidays The Jitterbugs performed two high energy shows over 3 days at St Ives Shopping village.

Their colourful characters and energetic young performers kept the crowds enthralled and delighted.

We had strong attendance at all shows and this translated into full capacity participants in other activities offered in the centre before and after the shows.

We believe that it was the attraction of The jitterbugs that brought the crowds into the centre. Customers form outside of our traditional trading zone came “Just for The Jitterbugs”.

Ellen and her crew were highly professional adopting their performance to suit the environment and the audience. Ellen made sure that two distinct shows were performed each day to encourage the audience to stay until the next show. This tactic worked very well with strong attendances of over 100 at each show.  More importantly the residual impact at our retailers (especially food and beverages) was noticed with increased activity in the adjacent food court between shows.

St Ives Shopping Village will definitely be booking The Jitterbugs again for next year’s program of holiday entertainment.

WESTFIELD

“The Jitterbugs” presentation is “bright and tight”, reflecting long hours of rehearsal but at the same time they never appeared to lose touch with their audience, be it the young on whom their act is focused or the older folk who were obviously entertained as well. Someone in my hearing said, “Look out the Wiggles! I think they may be right. The Jitterbugs is a class kids act that stretches further than most! I was most impressed.

PARRAMATTA CITY COUNCIL

On behalf of Parramatta City Council, I would like to extend our gratitude for your great work at the Australia Day Celebrations. “The Jitterbugs” delivered a fantastic show, enjoyed by children and adults alike. The choreography, costumes and repertoire were truly first class. Australia Day in Parramatta attracted record crowds this year- estimated at 180,000 throughout the day-and it is council’s belief that it was the standard of entertainment that brought the people to to park in droves. The program included James Morrison, Rhonda Burchmore, Spice Power Tribute Show, Fireworks and it was great to have “The Jitterbugs” as part of that outstanding program.

RADIO STATION 2WS

We broadcast the Classic Hits 2WS breakfast show once a month from a different school around Sydney… we call it Back To School Friday and I must say that “The Jitterbugs” have been a great additive to all our shows. Greg Pace presenter/producer from 2WS says “The children absolutely LOVE them and when all the characters come out to do their thing, it’s really hard to contain them…talk about excited!!!””
I think that it’s great that the GIRLS are out there with this energetic colourful show that’s really hard to ignore… sooner or later you feel the URGE  to get up with all the kids and dance around. Someone once said “Work like you don’t need the Money and Dance like there’s no one Watching… and it’s True…” “The Jitterbugs” are always Fun, Energetic & Entertaining, a hardworking outfit that everyone loves… and the ones that are unaware of them, well…they’re missing out!
